What to look for
Pack weight
For backpacking, weight and packed size matter more than anything; for car camping, comfort and thickness win.
A lure kit for every fish
A kit with mixed lures, hooks and weights lets you match what the fish are biting without buying piece by piece.
Sun on the water
Glare off water adds to sun exposure; a breathable face cover protects without trapping heat.
